Beef, Pork, Chicken Bolognese
Ingredients
- Mince beef
- Mince pork
- Mince chicken
- Garlic
- Sage
- Rosemary
- Brown onions
- Nutmeg
- Cumin
- Mustard seeds
- Carrot
- Celery
- Canned diced tomatoes
- Tomato paste
Preparation
- Finely dice brown onions and saute until browned in pan
- Finely chop / blend garlic, rosemary and sage leaves and mix into pan
- Grind nutmeg, cumin and mustard seeds and mix into pan
- Roughly dice carrot and celery and mix into pan, cook until jut starting to soften
- Remove mix from pan and put aside
- Pour more oil into pan and then add all minced meat
- Brown meat in pan
- Re-add vegetable/spice mix to pan and mix together with browned meat
- Add canned tomato, paste and top up with water until just covering mixture
10. Bring to boil and then turn down to a simmer, cook for two hours (mixing occasionally)
